About This Pipe
Each year, Rattray's designs a unique shape for their Pipe of the Year release, offering a collectible and distinctive addition to discerning smokers' rotations. For 2023, the marque has produced a robust paneled Billiard, featuring a hearty, capacious bowl defined by four crisp facets interspersed with supple curves. Said bowl rests atop a rounded heel at the fore of a balanced round shank fitted with eye-catching metallic accents that offer the unique look of a spigot mount in a standard tenon and mortise configuration. The accent is etched with a Celtic-inspired rabbit design in honor of the Chinese zodiac's designation of 2023 as the year of the rabbit. This particular example is presented in a crisp, earthy sandblast.

Generous bowl. This pipe absolutely loves HU Edward G. Wow, a nirvana smoke every time. I think the wider bowl does well with the diverse mix of tobacco cuts in that blend. Highly recommend this with a tin of Edward G.
