About This Pipe
Missouri Meerschaum's aptly named Cobbit series (a playful portmanteau word of "cob" and "hobbit") features demi-Churchwarden corn cob pipes inspired by Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. This Shire shape features a rounded Acorn bowl and the Sapphire line's colorful stem of high-quality acrylic.

rated from the bowl. Even when left with the stem and two pairs of pliers, I could not remove the stem from the shank. I could reglue the stem/shank to the bowl but cleaning the stem would be a problem. So I’m going to toss it. Lesson learned. Sometimes you really do get what you paid for. 2 smokes in and the shank cracked. Granted, MM pipes aren’t expensive by any measure, but I won’t be buying a cobbit model again.
