About This Pipe

Missouri Meerschaum's aptly named Cobbit series (a playful portmanteau word of "cob" and "hobbit") features demi-Churchwarden corn cob pipes inspired by Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. This Wizard shape is characterized by a tall, slender bowl with a black stem of high-quality acrylic.

Note: While all of our other pipes are photographed individually, these are not, and you may expect some reasonable cosmetic variation between the example we've photographed and the pipe you've received.

Great Pipe... but!!!

Product: Missouri Meerschaum Cobbit Wizard
This is a great pipe BUT I encountered a problem I have never had before. The stem had an obstruction and it was very difficult to clear. Finally got it opened and now it is a great smoke.

This is a beautiful corn cob. The bowl here holds twice the tobacco as any of my other pipes. I tend to let the tobacco dry out just a little longer when preparing for a smoke with this one as for me it has a tendency to go out because it’s so deep. (I set it down often) overall I love it. Great for setting down with a movie and relaxing for a long while. 3 stars only because my regular routine had to be heavily adjusted with this pipe, but maybe that’s just for me....Read More

Product: Missouri Meerschaum Cobbit Wizard
I *LOVE* my cob pipes. I have no time for folks who think they are played out or old fashioned. I love them. Consistently the best smokers in my rather large collection. This one is no exception. I agree with Andrew C that the tobacco has to be dried a bit further and this bowl is a mile deep. I love sitting and smoking it for very long sessions....Read More
