Sandblasted Bent Rhodesian with Horn and Boxwood Tobacco Pipe

With a background in the automotive industry, pipe artisan Jerry Zenn uses his prior skills as a mechanic to now craft well-engineered and detail-oriented pieces. Living and working in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Zenn is known for his organic shaping style and use of beautiful accents, both seen here in this bent Rhodesian. Approaching Nosewarmer proportions, this pipe measures just over four and a half inches long while still maintaining a dramatically bowl-centric profile, allowing it to house a respectable tobacco chamber despite its size. Said bowl follows the traditional silhouette of a Rhodesian as its walls rise from a lifted heel toward twin beadlines before tapering back inward to the rim. Out back is where Zenn's organicism comes into play as an abbreviated shank gives way to a flaring accent of horn that connects to a ring of boxwood at its base. A petite saddle stem cut from inky vulcanite brings up the rear, pairing well to the ebony sandblast dressing the stummel and providing ample texture to enjoy.
