Taking some influence from the Danish tradition, this plump-bodied bent Apple fills the hand splendidly, with a touch of extra lift to its heel, as well as a fine display of flame grain on all sides. Behind, it's been paired to three knuckles of delicately-bent bamboo shank extension, its pale palette pairing perfectly with the warmer tones of the stummel, while also offering a lightweight, easy feel. It's no surprise to see a piece like this, considering Jerry Zenn's tendency toward Danish and Japanese styles, but his skill remains impressive.
