About This Pipe
This bent Egg from Davide Iafisco is all smooth curves and easy flow from fore to button. The extra stoutness lent to the chamber walls, transition, shank, and stem alike all reinforce the form's aforementioned smoothness, resulting a charmingly chubby take on the classic shape — one that naturally fits to the contours of the palm. Practically, it's light enough for brief clenches in the jaw, and there's a good amount of chamber tucked away in there as well. The real highlight is the grain, however: a bold display of flame enveloping the entire stummel, brought out by a warm, bold contrast stain and accented only by pale horn near the shank end.
