The Bulldog One (Tobacco Clay) Tobacco Pipe

Clarin Clay Pipes are the product of a partnership between professional cermamicist Edna Bertin and industrial designer Alexandre "Ale" Vichinheski, who share a love and passion for clay pipes. Fueled by a desire to elevate the status of these pipes in the minds of modern smokers, the pair founded Clarin Clay Pipes in Brazil, focusing their efforts on creating heirloom-quality pieces of the finest craftsmanship. Named after the clarin trumpet, an old wind instrument that's still used today, the duo's name honors Edna's grandfather, who played the clarin and introduced Edna to music in her youth. The workshop's pipes are defined by their refinement, leveraging traditional craftsmanship and intense attention to detail to create pipes that are impressively smooth and remarkably symmetrical. This particular piece is a Bulldog, complete with a diamond shank and a beadline-wrapped bowl — as well as a double-walled bowl construction that exudes exceptional craftsmanship and helps to dissipate heat. Crafted from "Tobacco Clay," a special clay flecked with oxidized sediment, the stummel here boasts the look and texture of stone, while the mouthpiece features a glazed texture for a more comfortable smoking experience.
