About This Pipe
The stout proportions and elongated heel of Brigham's "56" really gives this bent Dublin a firm, solid disposition. The muscular, conservatively flared bowl sits perched on the end of an equally hearty shank, as the stem tapers trimly toward the bit. A firm and handy number, this one wears the Bruyere stain of the Heritage series of a classic aesthetic.
Brigham's Heritage series presents a variety of the Canadian marque's signature shapes in a rich, auburn-hued smooth finish. It's a vibrant yet traditional dress that brilliantly accentuates Brigham's subdued, classical shaping style. The finish here highlights gorgeous grain throughout the stummel, its lush hues complemented by the jet-black coloration of the mouthpiece.
--Davin HyltonLike all of Brigham's lineup, this pipe also comes complete with the marque's signature Rock Maple Insert. This special insert comprises a rock maple dowel drilled with a 3.5mm airway and pressure-fitted in the tenon via a special metal cap, helping to remove moisture and unpleasant flavors that develop during the smoking process. No chemicals or adhesives are used to manufacture Brigham's Rock Maple Inserts, ensuring a flavor-neutral profile that doesn't interfere with the tobacco. Moreover, because of the drilling, the Rock Maple Insert is able to pass a pipe cleaner, even while the pipe is still assembled.
Note: While all of our other pipes are photographed individually, these are not, and you may expect some reasonable cosmetic variation between the example we've photographed and the pipe you've received.
