Smooth Asymmetic Bent Dublin Tobacco Pipe

A big "S"-curve in profile, with tight curve to the upper shank and broad, complementary curve to the underside, along with the crisp lines of the left and near ridges, provide both organic aesthetic and geometric precision in a tightly-knit package. The asymmetry is most pronounced at the top of the pipe, as the rim has an undulating, concave sweep to it, emphasizing the delightful plateau. The grain is unquestionably the lead in this performance, with tight vertical grain running up the left side and phenomenal birdseye on the right. The gentle flair of the mouthpiece at the meeting of the shank carries the curves to the saddle bit, which in silhouette become visually insignificant in relation to the large bowl. If you like the unusual, you've found the right pipe, as this Tupitsyn is unlike anything we've previously seen from the carver. It's very nice to hold, with the thumb draping naturally over the top of the shank, and overall it has all the characteristics I'd look for a in great smoker.
