Sandblasted Asymmetric Volcano Tobacco Pipe

A charming mixture of contrasting color and texture with organic curvature is evident in this masterpiece from American pipemaker Abe Herbaugh. Although more typically one to incorporate natural form into his spherical shapes, Herbaugh's Volcano (only the second of its kind that we've received from the young artisan) showcases his brilliant dexterity with a block of briar, as well as his remarkable experience as a craftsman of fine guitars. The single, smooth line flowing from the heel's tip, around the bowl and into the shank serves to accentuate the delicately curved (but still broad) base.
