About This Pipe Tobacco
Black XX Rope from Samuel Gawith has the same twisted shapes but much Darker tobaccos than the Brown No.4. Stoving actually makes a richer and slightly more mellow smoke by heating the sugars and increasing the natural oils. Now available in 250g packages.

Hard to keep lit

I have no problem with the taste of atoms but even after drying and running out again I still find this tobacco almost impossible to keep lit

Cut thin coins with a cigar cutter, rub it out, dry it to just before crispy, smoke. I was rewarded with a cool, sweet, tasty smoke.

어떤이는 이연초를 태울때 나는 냄새는 "개털태우는 냄새"라고 말한다. 동의한다. 또 어떤이는 향속에 묻어나오는 버지니아의 고소함이 슬며시 느껴진다 라고도 한다. 이또한 동의한다. 버지니아의 특유의 훈증방법으로 탄생한 이녀석은 분명 호불호가 정확하게 갈린다. 그래서 나역시 절반의 기쁨이라고 본다
