Deliciously sour, makes my mouth water

Moisture - pretty good, no drying needed. Tin note- sour, bbq, (but my mum in her 70’s said it smells like old men’s feet) Flavouring/Toppings - none I can detect. Room note - tolerable to unpleasant depending on whom you ask. Smoke- I don’t get the sweetness others have talked about, but the smooth sour creamy woodsy flavour was definitely there. I finished a bowl about half an hour ago and my mouth is still watering. I would call it a medium blend, as it is decidedly too smooth for me to call it strong. I like it. 4/5 stars...Read More

This duck flies fine taste woodsy smoky its nice does need a little breaking up its a kinda thick blend the smell will knock your head off but god it taste good

When I was doing a fair amount of blending, one of my "grail blends" was a Burley-based English. I got close, twice.

Black Duck, though, is THE Burley-based English taste I was looking for. That smoky Lat-forward, Oriental undertones and the musky sweetness of the Cavendish. This C&D winner is in my TOP 10, for darn sure......Read More

This would be a good blend for aromatic smokers to try an occasional English blend especially if you like a little more burley.
The begining of the bowl almost seems too mild but the flavors build toward the middle and finish strongly.
