Founded in 2015 by brothers Mike and Greg Szczepankiewicz, Powstanie produces premium cigars crafted at the Nica Sueño factory in Estelí, Nicaragua — the same facility behind RoMa Craft's celebrated blends. The name "Powstanie," meaning "Uprising" in Polish, reflects both the brothers' heritage and the brand's bold, innovative spirit.

Powstanie's Connecticut cigar showcases an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper leaf — which originated from seeds that were brought to Ecuador in the 1970s. Nurtured under the region's natural cloud cover, this wrapper produces a creamy, sweet flavor profile complemented by notes of cedar, dark coffee, leather, and a touch of pepper. In Powstanie's Connecticut cigar, these complex yet balanced flavors encase a blend of rich Nicaraguan fillers and a U.S. binder, delivering a smooth and balanced smoking experience. The Powstanie Connecticut is available in four vitolas: Toro, Belicoso, Short Perfecto, and the Corona Gorda — also known as "Justice," named in honor of co-founder Mike Szczepankewicz's son.
