About This Cigar
Evidently the idea behind the Nicaragua was that Cohiba wanted a stick which had the kick and complexity of Nicaraguan puro, but with more balance and spiciness. Their solution for this is a Nicaraguan binder/filler combination, paired with a Honduran Colorado oscuro wrapper, grown in the Jamastran Valley - right over the border from Nicaragua. The result is a medium-full smoke packed with a variety flavors from coffee, pepper, and leather to cedar and sweetness.
