About This Cigar

Rocky Patel's Disciple cigar was released at the 2021 PCA Trade Show and was created as a counterpart to their Sixty blend — also released in 2021. Both cigars are made at Rocky's Tabacalera Villa Cuba in Estelí, Nicaragua, and feature a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a binder and fillers from Nicaragua, but the Disciple is a round, non-box-pressed cigar with a medium- to full-bodied smoking experience. It's offered here in the 3.5" x 46 Half-Corona size.

Magnificent Winter Smoke

Well the 2026 storm is here! Or is it? Where the hell is it? All this prep and somebody decides to show up late. Screw it, I'm puttin on my bibs & peacoat and braving these low teens while this "storm" takes it good ol time.
This 3 ½" slice of dark chocolate cake had a spice punch right from the get go and mellowed out after about 10min and slowly became more and more like dessert. Strong, spicy in the beginning and full of espresso throughout. The retrohale just kept giving those wonderful notes, dark chocolate & espresso, but there was something else. I couldn't put my finger on it, nutmeg or cedar, than some woody earthy notes came out. It was cold and things got confusing, but damn was it magnificent. I smoked it down to about a half inch. It wasn't good, it was delicious. Had a little Elijah Craig after and melted in my chair.
Will I do it again?
I'm buying the box of 20-25 and a new humidor just for them.

I’ve been smoking smaller cigars in the colder months and this one I’ll smoke again. Very smooth med/med+ - draw is a little tight on the half corona but I’m not complaining for more time with the disciple!
