About This Cigar

Cuba Aliados cigars were first produced in Havana, Cuba in the 1940s, the brainchild of Rolando Reyes Sr., who moved production to the United States for a limited time before permanently relocating to Honduras. The brand rose to prominence in the 1990s and, in 2012, Reyes Sr. passed away, the Cuba Aliados name later being acquired by the Oliva family in 2021. Oliva re-released the Cuba Aliados brand in 2022 with a new blend, though one which stays true to the heritage of the name. In tandem with the Original Blend, produced by Julio Eiroa of JRE Tobacco, Oliva additionally released an imagining of the Cuba Aliados cigar by E.P. Carillo. This is a limited edition release comprising 10,000 boxes of 20 cigars available on the U.S. market, its blend boasting a five-year-aged Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper atop a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic & Nicaragua. The result is a complex, medium-bodied cigar that's both excellently balanced and rich with flavor.

This could probably be said for many cigars, but this is a great walking stick.

It's Saturday and the day before I fell victim to a very bad entry in the stock market. However. We live, we lick our wounds and we move on.

I may have lost, but a cigar isn't
only for a job well done. It's time to reflect, to think, to analyze. To bring yourself back!
This was a much needed cigar and my God did it bring me back.
Now I'm ready to face a new week and contemplate my failure. Learn from the mistakes I made and make a great comeback. Much like this cigar.

This cigar was a light cup of straight black coffee, just the way I like it. Some chocolate blended in there with every puff and a touch of cedar to round it off. This cigar was so good I didn't want to put it down as the notes intensified melding everything together and becoming a little more spicy towards the end.
With limited time this 5in cigar was perfect on a foggy night with only a few neighbors front lights illuminating the hazy view in a spectrum of light just enough to find my way back and come full circle.
