Jochy Blanco is a fourth generation manufacturer and tobacco grower, his family's factory - Tabacalera Palma - was one of the first to be established in the Dominican Republic in 1936. It's located in Tamboril, which many consider to be the cigar capital of the world. La Galera is their flagship brand that Blanco launched in 2016.

The Maduro line features a well-aged blend of Dominican Piloto Cubano binder with Dominican Piloto Cubano and Criollo '98 fillers. Tucked under a Mexican San Andres wrapper, this medium-full bodied blend features a balance of creamy,sweet, and spicy flavors.
