Blackened S84 Toro Cigar (6 x 52)

The Blackened S84 cigar merges the creative visions of Jonathan Drew, founder and president of Drew Estate Cigars; Rob Dietrich, master distiller and blender of Blackened American Whiskey; and James Hetfield, co-founder, singer, and guitarist of Metallica. The trio were connected through mutual friendships and bonded over their shared love for cigars, and they released the Blackened M81 in 2022, a unique, all-Maduro cigar. In 2024, the partnership debuted the S84, a cigar boasting a shade-grown Ecuadorian Connecticut-seed wrapper, though it's certainly not a mild cigar by any means. This Connecticut-seed wrapper covers a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and Pennsylvania Broadleaf and Nicaraguan Maduro fillers, making this pipe a robust, rich, medium-bodied smoke that's both flavorful and accessible. Available in the same sizes as the M81, the S84's name comes from the "S" in shade coupled with the last two digits of 1984, the year Metallica released Ride the Lightning, one of the band's most widely celebrated albums and the album which features the song "Fade to Black:" a song referenced by these cigars' foot bands, reading "Shade to Black."
