About This Cigar
Curivari approaches cigarmaking from as authentic a Cuban style as possible — using only the traditional Cuban rolling method, Cuban-seed Criollo and Corojo tobaccos, and finished with a triple cap. Founder Andreas Throuvalas seeks to emulate the iconic flavor profile of famous Cuban cigars, prioritizing balanced flavor and aroma over strength.
El Gran Rey fits in well to Curivari's portfolio. A Nicaraguan puro, this blend is one of Throuvalas' more full-bodied offerings, marked by rich spiciness, sweet caramel, with hints of honey, yet it remains deliciously complex and nuanced for an enticing profile all the way through the cigar, the spicy flavors not overpowering the palate.
