About This Cigar
Though officially established in 1997, Casdagli boasts a reputation that stretches as far back as the 1800s, when the Casdagli family began trading in agricultural goods. Over the following century, the Casdagli family established itself as a mercantile dynasty, dealing in luxury commodities, grain, cotton, tobacco, and eventually, Cuban cigars. Today, the Casdagli brand specializes in premium cigars that honor the values of the original Casdagli family: luxury, elegance, and tradition.
In celebration of their partnership with Cigar Club Mareva, home of the Cigar Smoking World Championship, Casdagli Cigars created the Mareva line. Each Mareva cigar is specially selected by Marko Bilić, the founder of Cigar Club Mareva, and blended by Hendrik Kelner Jr., Casdagli's master blender. The Gran Mareva cigar embodies the Mareva line's excellence, featuring a Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper, a Dominican binder, and fillers from the Dominican Republic, United States, and Nicaragua.
