Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr. continues the Carrillo family's Cuban cigar-making legacy, following in the footsteps of his father, who established a Cuban cigar factory in 1948 before later moving to Miami. The Casa Carillo Connecticut is the fourth addition to the brand's Essence series. Featuring an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, a Honduran binder, and fillers from both Honduras and the Dominican Republic, this cigar offers a flavor that's complex but still approachable. Delivering notes of cream, hay, and light pepper, and subtle hints of toasted almond and cedar, the Connecticut is offered in several different vitolas, available here in a 6" x 52 Toro.
