I've used this lighter heavily since I purchased it in 2021. I would have WELL exceeded the price of this lighter in other lighters over the years. It's spendy up front but lasts for so much longer then any other lighter will. Highly recommend!

The Old Boy comes boxed in an attractive blue vinyl and enclosed in a soft microfiber pouch. There’s a pleasant weight to it as you examine the sleek metallic figure which gleams in the light. When you fill it up and spark the flame, which comes out at the perfect angle for pipe smoking, you suddenly understand why you needed this.

I have two of these. Great lighters. Have used one for three years of daily use and never any issues. Much better functionality and longevity than the Kiribi. The hinge mechanism is much better in the Old Boy as well.

For an accessory as often used as a pipe lighter it doesn't pay to compromise, the feel in hand and consistant reliability are well worth the extra bucks in the long run. If you are on the fence between the Old Boy and something similiar go for the real deal.
