About This Pipe Tobacco

When Dunhill announced it would no longer be producing tobacco, pipe smokers rued the loss of some of their favorite mixtures. Thanks to Peterson, however, those beloved blends are still available. They're the same recipes and feature the same tin art as Dunhill's, just re-branded for Peterson.

My Mixture 965 is for connoisseurs of full-bodied English blends. Choice Latakia imparts a rich, smoky flavor and coolness, while Orientals are added for sweetness and spice. It's one of Dunhill's most popular English mixtures, now offered here from Peterson.

The classic. What more is there to say about this blend? Often copied, never replicated. If I had to explain to a new smoker what an English blend tasted like, I’d probably pass them a tin of this. As many others have stated, I would sum this up as if its in my pipe and its smoking it is a fine smoke, however for me it was lacking something I couldn't put my finger on. Like a la croix, it just falls off for me.
