This tobacco is just what it is as described, "A Blend of slow-cooked, dark fired Virginias". It's rich and smokey. A true Black Cavendish indeed. I believe a lot of pipe smokers have a preconceived notion that Black Cavendish is loaded with sweeteners such as Lane's BCA, I get it. Don't be fooled by the name. This is NOT goopy PG soaked black cavendish. This is what Mac Baren called their Orginal Cavendish which is dark fired leaf that has been put through the cavendish process. It's has all the dark fired profile but mellowed and lightly sweetened.
