A recreation of the similarly named Larus & Brothers OTC mixture, this blend starts with a base of cube cut Burley, Virginias, and Perique and is then given a marshmallow creaminess with the inclusion of black Cavendish and Latakia.

Not my favorite blend but it fills the space between aromatic and virginia / burley. Does have a marshmallow flavor which is a bit odd for me but it isn't bad.

c is mild. Flavoring is mild, with notes of vanilla and sweeter. Both are up front in the beginning but settle down in the background after a few minutes. Taste is mild to medium and mostly consistent, with notes of toasted wood, very dry, slightly spicy, mildly sweet nuts, floral/herbal, molasses, spice, lemon grass, earth, bitter dark fruit, a brown sugar background note, and a peppery retro. Burley is leading with Cavendish and Virginia supporting. Latakia fills in when needed, and Perique is supposed to be here, but represented at all. Really enjoyed this American/English blend. Great old school aroma and as a match I would say its done well! Topping is light but there and ads depth I think. Solid daily smoker.
