About This Pipe Tobacco

ild. No flavoring is listed, but there is a sweetness I think comes from the stoving. It diminished a bit but never goes away. Taste is medium and mostly consistent, with complex notes of tangy raisin, spices, bready, floral, stewed tart dark plums, wood, very savory, earthy, sugar, rich, spicy, vinegary fermentation, buttery, mildly salty, a sweet herbal grass background note, and a retro that is sometimes peppery and sometimes smooth. Virginia is leading with Perique providing support, mostly in the background, but at times Perique was more pronounced. Room note is pleasant to tolerable, and aftertaste is great....Read More

Hopefully this improves with age since at $25 a pop I struggle to justify tossing it outright....Read More

I’m not converting by any means but I want to try everything once and this blend will find a place in my cellar a few tins at least for when I’m ready for a change of pace like I was this week....Read More

It has an especially pleasant aroma and almost never requires a re-light. I just don't know that it's worth the price.
