Low Country - Edisto 2oz
Very good red flake
I do see how this is similar to CRF. CRF does have more complexity especially depending on the year…. I’m thinking of you 2019 that was a good year lol. But I think this is in the same vein as red flake. I’m conflicted because I feel like these new releases like edisto and lone sentinel are wowing me more than some old favorites like interlude and red carpet. One thing is for certain this is a great blend and whatever the grades are it’s surprisingly good for a fresh Virginia. At this point it would s surprising how much red Virginias can vary. I started loving interlude years ago til I finally got some CRF, but comparing that to dawn it’s apples and oranges.

First impressions
this is a really delicious plug. I went into it Comparing it to red carpet which is a favorite of mine. Initially I thought it was stronger perique wise but I do t think it is. It’s perfectly balanced in my opinion. I think the difference is there’s more than one Virginia so it’s a more complex flavor. The way I do it is I slice up half the plug and rub it out thoroughly and cut it up with my cigar cutter to get it broken down really well and leave the other half in the jar til I need it.

I never thought I’d fall this hard for an aromatic.
When I started smoking I smoked a lot of English blends and Virginias. I tried this once a long time ago and didn’t think much of it but upon trying it about a year ago I couldn’t put it down. I think since my smoking technique has improved over the past decade I can properly appreciate aromatics and this is just delightful. It honestly reminds me of a vague memory I have of walking in the flea market with my mother as a child. I distinctly remember smelling pipe smoke in the market and it was sort of a vanilla smell nut this tastes like that memory if you know what I mean. I just don’t get tired of it, often if I don’t know what I want to smoke or if I just want something easy to smoke in the way home from work this is always a good choice. Usually I smoke vapers or straight Virginias but this blend is great when I want something sweet and satisfying.

Old Joe krantz is my main smoke but I'm on my second bowl of sansepolcro and my only thought is I want to always have this avalible.But aside from it being a limited release I know in a couple of years it would be eliminated by the deeming laws. Sadly
