Cornell & Diehl - Founding Fathers
The Taste of Freedom
I sat on this blend for a couple of years after having ordered it in the winter and just not being impressed by it at the time. However, when spring and summer rolled around something magical happened. Sitting in the shade next to my lovely fig trees with a nice cool breeze blowing across, i lit the bowl , and it finally hit me; that delicious topping, the perfect balance of cavendish and burley's, it all just seemed to come together out of nowhere. A brilliant, slow smoke as we look towards our 250th year.
Cornell & Diehl - Speakeasy Navy Blend 2oz
Heir to the throne
I can't add much to what has already been said. On that not, I would like to heartily congratulate Jeremy. This has officially beaten out MacBaren Navy Flake for my favorite navy flake (a place held for 15 years).
F&K - Lancer Ready Rubbed
Better with age
I just popped a jar I've been cellaring since 2014. I was a fan back when I worked for the company, smoking it "fresh", and it had just blossomed with time. The latakia has smoothed out wonderfully, with no bite from the Virginia whatsoever. Fresh or aged, you can't go wrong with the wonderfully mellow English masterpiece mixture.
Tampers & Tools - Low Country Reamer
Secret weapon
This has been my secret weapon for years, since Adam brought a few around to test out. I guarantee you will not find a better, more efficient reaming tool.

Remembering Bear Graves: Internet Pipe Community Pioneer
- ► Not only did I have the distinct pleasure of working with Bear, but also becoming his friend, and also living on his couch for some time whilst working at SPC. The time we spent together talking history, tobacco, and Ramen; the kindness and mirth, all of it will stay with me as long as I live. I can honestly say, I'm a better man today because of Bear.
