Peter Stokkebye - PS701 Virginia
Nothing to write home about.
Peppery and almost no tang. Not what I'm looking for in a Virginia blend.

Cornell & Diehl - Bayou Morning
Pure tobacco taste.
If I had to describe this mixture in one word, it would be 'inconsistent.' Sometimes I get the Virginia, which is as you would expect from a mass-produced blend from C&D rough and unrefined. Other times, I get the Perique. The cigarette/cigar taste is there; not like Pegasus and OJK, but it's loud. I can taste hints of cooked fruits and a musty floralness in the background. I'm a nicotine lightweight, but this was oddly smooth for me.

Peter Stokkebye - PS23 B & B
Might be the closest thing to Symphony by Mac Baren
Incredibly smooth and complex. The sour note in the background coupled with the earthy chocolate flavor is the main story in this blend. The room note is similar to RPL-6, its not good but who cares? it taste delicious! PS should really sell the pressed Burley, I'm sure it would be a hit. Its the same one they used in PS301.

Cornell & Diehl - Izmir Turkish
Not just for blending.
Spicy, leathery and sweet. What more do you want form a tobacco? I'm not too crazy about C&D blends but this is a hidden gem. In the retrohale, I get intense perfumy black pepper and a sweet note similar to the one I find in connecticut shade cigars. I think we need to see more Orientals blends especially in flakes. The Izmer and Basma varieties from Lebanon and Syria and Palestine are the best. Turkey and Cyprus are also up there.

Lane Limited - RLP-6
Just your average PG/VG bomb from Lane with
Linear blend but If you go slow, you can kinda taste the tobacco. I get hints of wet tea leaves and leather at the beginning. Its a nice smoke when you're not in the mood for anything specific.

Cornell & Diehl - Nutty Irishman
PG/VG bomb
Tasteless burley with tons of PG and other flavors. Not the best mixture for Virginias to thrive. Its smooth, I give it that but its not worth the trouble.

Peter Stokkebye - PS301 Natural Dutch Cavendish
Classic clean taste.
Notes: Sweet butter, burley spice, leather, floral, hints of tea. Strength: light One of the best Stokkebye blends for sure. Its natural and clean with a great smoke output. This is a good blend for aggressive puffers like me.

Newminster - No. 400 Superior Navy Flake
Bity apricots.
For Virginia pros only. Not a bad smoke at all, Its just too intense for me.

Mac Baren - Symphony
Chocolate goodness
I'm glad I got to experience this delicious blend before it's forever gone.

Cornell & Diehl - Virginia Gentleman
Boost your energy
Awesome all day smoke a big nic hit. The "slight touch of Turkish" gives it a nice edge and adds a layer of complexity.

Peter Stokkebye - PS52 Proper English
Luxurious blend.
A smooth and sweet English that puts most expansive tins to shame. PS52 has everything you want in an English blend. I get sweet cloves and hints of raisins, the sweet and smoky note is consistent from start to finish. This is it right here.

Peterson - Standard Mixture 50g
Classic English blend.
Fresh out of the tin, the Latakia was too much for me and tasted like mushrooms, which I'm not a fan of. However, after a month in a jar, it became one of my favorite English blends. Wonderful stuff.

Low Country - Natural Virginia
Unbeatable at this price point.
At first I thought was a boring one-dimensional blend but now its slowly growing on me. NV is a smooth and sweet blend with decent smoke output and no tongue bite. I'm still looking for an all-day straight Virginia and this is already on the list.
