Lighters - Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Pipe Lighter
Got a bad one
I think I got a lemon which is too bad, because if all features worked it’d be a nice lighter at a good price. I’m sure if you took a 100 out of the box 95 would work fine. Lighter won’t fill all the way, I’ve tried all known methods and it still won’t take much fluid. The flame adjustment is either small or Roman Candle, no in between. When it lights, the flame bounces from low to high to low, pulsating flow. The tamper tool was machined incorrectly where the fit was super tight and now very loose, not that I use it, but if I bought it planning on using it, I’d be disappointed. Smoking Pipes stood up and gave me credit which was a solid move and the right move. I’ve since purchased several items from them and been happy to be a customer.

Knows Its’ Role..
Been happy with this purchase as it is a well thought out case. Can’t speak on longevity yet but as an avid outdoorsman, I’ll be putting it through the Upper Midwest paces, Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Pipes are held securely. Normally, I carry a Chacom Skipper and a couple small Cobs in it. The pouch is lined and seems to hold plenty of tobacco, however I’m hesitant to just throw an ounce or two in it and leave it for too long, might experiment with that on the next trip though. I’m a little concerned about one blend affecting another blend if I mix too much, I like a variety. For now I’ve been using small poly bags and separating the tobaccos, seems to work ok. Only items that are loose are my tamper and lighter, not really an issue though. For the price would recommended.
Missouri Meerschaum - Mini with Black Stem
Ideal, quick, cheap.
Perfect for quick samples or letting friends try a pipe, and sometimes I just want to rip a quick bowl for a non-meditative session. I will likely pickup a couple more at that price. No issues with the stem but be careful as the bottom of the bowl is thin and can easily be poked through, but for this price, oh well. Would recommend.
