Interesting to say the least
Questioning my palate. At the start of the bowl it's an okay flavor, has an almost cigar leaf taste mixed with some oak notes. Then halfway through the bowl it becomes very enjoyable, woody, earthy... it's hard to describe, it's like smelling a freshly printed book or dollar bill for me, satisfying and crisp. But then you get to around a quarter of the bowl, and it's just a rough time. Harsh flavor, like you're trying to consume a pack of cigarettes all at once. Says there's a "touch of Perique" yeah, I don't know if my tongue is off, or if I'm just not up to snuff, but I did not taste any perique in this. Although I despise the bottom quarter of the bowl with a passion, I do quite like this blend on occasion

Does not disappoint
Absolutely incredible, The smooth mellow woody notes of the virginia, and the fruity almost citrusy-ness of the perique leaves me craving more after the first bowl. The retrohale was a little harsh at first, but as I progressed through the bowl that dissipated and left me with a very enjoyable smoke. Highly recommend with a cup of your favorite coffee for a very pleasant experience
