Cornell & Diehl - Sun Bear Bourbon Cask 2oz
Nice small batch, nice story, and nice flavor
After successfully snagging three tins of the '26 Sun Bear, I wrapped up my workday and sat down to enjoy the '24 Sun Bear. I really love this small-batch blend; it has a compelling backstory that invites exploration, and after some aging, it develops a rich, creamy note that I find absolutely irresistible and the lingering sweetness left in the mouth after smoking is truly memorable.. While it might not be my all day smoke, it is a foolproof choice whenever I’m undecided about what to pack in my pipe. Truly hope this small-batch series continues and really looking forward to tasting the '26 Sun Bear.

I can enjoy it all day.
This is one of my must-have tobaccos when I go out. No matter what pipe I use, just put it in and it will always give you a fantastic flavor. When you first pick it up, you maybe feel it's a little off-putting, but after a year in a bottle, everything is wonderful. If you're unsure what to choose, just take this one. Absolutely MUST try it.

Give it patience, and it will return a good taste.
I d heard before that this was a good V&P blend from C&D, so I bought 4OZ and kept it in a bottle for three months, trying one bowl each month. The first two months weren't great, and I was about to give up on it. But last night, I suddenly had another bowl, and surprisingly, after another month, the experience was quite good. It started with the classic bitterness of C&D tobacco, but everything changed in the middle, becoming sweet and delicious, making it irresistible to take big puffs. Given this positive change, I'll definitely repurchase it.

The taste is okay, but it can't last long. The 2024 version was sealed and I checked it a few days ago and it was moldy. The mold comes from the inside, not the outside. There are many moldy leaves in the middle of the bricks.

Father Dempsey is better
For me, I have heard of its reputation for a long time, so I bought a pound directly. When I got it, it smelled good after opening the bag. The grass was a bit wet, so I needed to let it dry a little. I chose a corn pipe to try it for the first time. The first experience was not good. It was crazy extinguishing and the smoke was hot. Later, I tried to change different pipes and different filling methods, but there was still no improvement. It has been more than four months since I bought it. How many four months can there be in life? For me, it is not a one day smoke. S 957 and Father Dempsey are much better than it (cheaper price, better experience). I will keep it well. Maybe one day when I feel like it, it will give me a surprise.

The tobacco that has been opened and left for half a year is not the same as the tobacco that was first, When you first open it, you will think it is just a normal tobacco, but after a few months, everything changes, sweet, strong, I can smoke it all day long, There are no words to describe how this makes me feel
