WOODSWALKER

Cornell & Diehl - Kajun Kake 8oz
Changes a lot
I opened a tin that was 8 months old, and at first it was pretty boring, but did have a good bready quality. Over the course of the next two months it got progressively more sweet and citrus. To the point that near the end of the kake I didn’t want it to end. I suspect this will age exceedingly well as a result.

Cornell & Diehl - Steamworks 2oz
Slow clap
To thunderous applause.

Cornell & Diehl - Granulated Perique
Unique Perique
The smell reminds me of oolong tea, but multiplied to be many times more potent. A very close and deep sniff stings the nostrils. Tastes like lemon, oak, and about a dozen other things. Mixed with some straight Virginia it is perfection.

G. L. Pease - Penny Farthing 2oz
Convenient and delicious
Hairlike thin shag. Moisture perfect for smoking right now. Smells spicy and dense. Malty, bready, with a just a little sweet, and spice from the Kentucky. I particularly enjoyed the few rolled leaf bits in the tin.

Cornell & Diehl - Exhausted Rooster 8oz
Outrageous
First of all, best name ever. Tin note is sweet and reminiscent of cherry and alcohol, not unlike an Old Fashioned. Smokes beautifully, juicy and sweet from start to finish. Outstanding va/per/ley.

Cornell & Diehl - Bayou Morning Flake 8oz
Perique in your Virginia
Lemony, sweet, Perique in the nose. Big can, back of cellar.

Samuel Gawith - Balkan Flake 50g
A journey in flake form
When I opened this tin I wondered if it had gone bad. It had a funk like you wouldn’t believe. After a few months in a mason jar it has acquired sugar crystals, and smells much more pleasing. As with all Gawith flakes it is very wet and I generally let it dry for 6-8 hours. It is simple straightforward yet subtle. Sweet and citrusy yet earthy and peaty. Aftertaste is just wonderful.

Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation - Twilight Mixture
Spicy
This is a really easy smoke, moisture levels about perfect right out of the bag. It started off a little bland, but after a few months in a mason jar it smells like beef stew and is acquiring a nice sweetness.

Cornell & Diehl - Haunted Bookshop Cake 2oz
Sweet and so good with tea
Mouth watering tongue tingling savory sweetness. Goes too well with oolong. 10 stars.

Filters & Adaptors - Savinelli 6mm Filters - Balsa(100 Pack)
Perfection and Price
Works great in MM cobs and Savinelli pipes.

Missouri Meerschaum - Country Gentleman Straight (6mm)
Excellent smoker
I have a few cobs, and lets be honest they all have some variation. The Country Gentleman I recieved from smokingpipes is great. Fits my hand like a glove and is a joy to smoke.

Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation - Evening Flake
Citrus
Smells very sweet with a bit of vanilla. Upon lighting a friend commented on how sweet it smelled. You could chew on all the flavor going on like a good piece of sourdough bread. As it is aging it is losing the initial vanilla like top note and turning to citrus. Really good stuff.

Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Kendal Kentucky
Solid
This is a good strong standard tobacco. It burns really well and clean, has very nice hydration level. Puff it gentle or it will kick like a mule.

Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Dark Flake Unscented
The ruggedly sweet flake
Smells like BBQ, smoked meats, jerky. Needs a lot of drying time. Incredibly sweet after a few months in the jar. Reminds me of teriyaki. More than 5 stars because of incredible nicotine content.

Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Bob's Chocolate Flake 50g
Excellent
The chocolate smell is more pronounced in the room note and smell of the tobacco in the tin. The chocolate flavor is very subtle, more so I get bready earthy flavors. The latakia is a very nice touch that displays the true mastery G&H seem to have of the art of making fine tobacco.
