Functionally Sound
Simplicity is genius, and the manifestation of that statement is in the Missouri Pride. Capabilities aside, if you have an obsession for cleanliness, know that this pipe's surface gets dirty. I understand people like the pipe for its ability to take a beating, but a little order isn't out of order.

Kramer's - Extra Smooth
Keeps its promise
The name Extra Smooth is very fitting for this blend. You get the rich smoke characteristics from the Cavendish and well-balanced sweet and tart notes from the Virginia, which come together to grant one an enjoyable smoking experience that doesn't need much babysitting. The effect of the alkaloid naturally present in tobacco is mild for me, but this is good for a blend that one intends to be a mainstay throughout the day. I approve of this blend.

Low Country - Natural Virginia & Oriental
A proper Steady Eddie
I get the sweetness associated with the Virginia tobacco in the first few puffs. The floral notes from the Oriental complement the simplicity of the Virginia in a nice way. The Virginia itself is pleasant if you can get it, but it's very muted. This is okay in the aspects it markets itself on. The potency is mild-medium. The room note is respectful. The price is right.

Arango - Balkan Supreme
Class on a Pipe
Look, if you want to enjoy an English blend where the Latakia isn't overpowering, the smoke is cool and the Orientals complement everything else in a divine fashion, Arango Balkan Supreme is the way. Sopraffino.
