Great VaPer Coin
This is a great VaPer coin. It is on par with Escudo & Peterson Navy rolls. With very similar strength and flavor profiles. The Red Virginia has a refined sweetness that brings hay, citrus and honey flavors while the Perique adds that fermented depth of soft plum and that wonderful Perique spice. Pricing is fair if you consider 24oz of Escudo or Peterson would cost you $260 to $325. Bonus that the price irritates the little red communist devils. Hurrah Capitalism.

Serino - The Expat Corona Gorda
An Unexpected Cuban Echo: A Review of This Unknown Gem
This cigar is a revelation - an absolute steal for the price and a flavor profile that punches well above its weight class. Describing it as an "unknown gem" feels spot on; it's the kind of cigar you stumble upon and then hoard, fearing the day they stop making them. The primary draw here is undoubtedly the flavor. It's full-bodied and undeniably reminiscent of a Cuban Bolivar. That classic, rich, and complex taste is present, showcasing quality tobacco and skillful blending. Anyone who enjoys the robust earthiness and subtle spice of a Bolivar will find a familiar and satisfying experience here. To say it's the closest Bolivar-like cigar you'll find outside of Havana is a bold claim, but I'm inclined to agree. Strength-wise, the cigar sits comfortably in the medium-full zone, providing a satisfying kick without being overwhelming. It's a great cigar for an afternoon smoke or paired with a strong coffee after dinner. Aesthetically, the oily wrapper is a welcome sign of quality, promising a well-conditioned and flavorful smoke. The "unwrapped foot" is certainly an oddity, and initially raised concerns about the burn. However, I was pleasantly surprised when the burn evened out and remained true throughout the smoke. This quirk, while unusual, ultimately didn't detract from the overall experience. The dominant flavor profile is refreshingly straightforward: just straight, unadulterated tobacco. This purity allows the quality of the leaf to shine through, offering a deeply satisfying and complex taste without relying on artificial enhancements. Finally, let's talk about the price. At a little over $5 a stick, this cigar is criminally underpriced. It's a screaming bargain and an opportunity to stock up on a truly remarkable smoke without breaking the bank. In today's market, finding a cigar with this level of flavor and quality at such an affordable price is almost unheard of. Overall: This "unknown gem" is a must-try for any cigar enthusiast, especially those who appreciate the Cuban Bolivar profile. Despite the minor peculiarity of the unwrapped foot, the exceptional flavor, balanced strength, and unbelievably low price make it an absolute winner.

Maltese Falcon is certainly worth the puff
I’m always on the hunt for blends that deliver both complexity and smoothness, and G.L. Pease’s Maltese Falcon has truly captured my enthusiasm. This particular blend strikes a harmonious balance between subtlety and depth, making it an exceptional choice for anyone looking to enjoy a leisurely smoke. From the very first light, Maltese Falcon enchants the palate with its smooth, smoky profile. What stands out immediately is the remarkable lack of bite; this is a blend that caters to both novices and seasoned smokers alike, offering a gentle experience that allows you to savor each puff without fear of an acrid finish. The smoke is creamy and refined, enveloping the senses in a delightful embrace. The tin note itself is a compelling invitation to indulge. Upon opening, the aromatic blend of sweet wood, earthy chocolate, and a hint of smoke wafts out, creating an olfactory experience that intrigues and delights. It gives such a rich promise of what’s to come; a combination that sparks the imagination with thoughts of peaceful evenings and relaxed gatherings. As the blend ignites and settles into a steady burn, the flavor profile remains consistently pleasing. The interplay of sweet undertones and the savory smokiness creates a beautifully balanced experience that evolves with each draw. One of the blend's most admirable traits is its compatibility with different times of day. Whether you’re enjoying a quiet morning smoke with coffee or winding down after a long day, Maltese Falcon delivers a satisfying experience that doesn’t overpower but rather complements. In summary, G.L. Pease’s Maltese Falcon blend is a stellar choice for any pipe tobacco enthusiast seeking a smooth and enjoyable smoke.
