Love at first light
I went into my old haunt looking for an alertative to nightcap because f**k STG...I was steered toward this. I read the reviews, and i was cautiously optimistic. Its rare I've seen a tobacco get this thorough of a glazing in the reviews, but...my brothers in briar, I am deeply, madly in love. Rubbed out and stuffed in my oxford half bent Dublin, I fired it up and instantly knew it was going to be a good time. Smoked cool to the tongue, though that pipe has a tendency to get hotter than average in the bowl. Haven't figured out why. Anyway, sipping some cold brew yunnan black tea, and watching a very electrically active storm brewing a few miles to the south, was the perfect set and setting for this smoke. This is a desert island blend for me. I will be picking up...just so many tins along the way. Truly, if you are a latakia lover, if you love nightcap but dont want to contribute to the evil empire, if you love Penzance but dont feel like fighting over it like black Friday... in my humble opinion, this is better than both. And I love those two. Get some. Have a schmoke. Fall in love like I did.
