Founded by artisan Simone Gaudenzi after years spent refining his craft alongside Giancarlo Guidi at the famed Ser Jacopo workshop, Valbruna Pipes reflects Gaudenzi's personal vision, shaped by tradition, experimentation, and the Adriatic coast of his hometown, Gabicce Mare. Named after a local legend of a city lost beneath the sea, Valbruna pairs classic Italian shaping with Simone's own creative style, resulting in pipes that balance careful craftsmanship and a distinct sense of character.

This particular piece sits at the junction of a Cherrywood and an Egg, combining the Cherrywood's flat heel and forward-urging posture with a more rounded fore that introduces an Egg-like sense of line. The stummel is dressed in a Mahogany stain, highlighting tendrils of grain that rise from the bowl's heel.
