Silver has really emphasized this example's features though — raising the transition to lend the bowl's heel a deep, drooping aesthetic, while the drastic recurve of the shank positions it noticeably above the rim. The rotund bowl fills the palm sublimely, with a generous chamber and solid insulated walls.
