In 1916, as demand for Alfred Dunhill's pipes continued to grow, a new chapter in the company's history began with the opening of its factory at Notting Hill Gate, London. Over the following decades, this remarkable complex became the heart of Dunhill's pipe and cigarette manufacturing operations, playing a pivotal role in shaping the brand's legacy before its closure in 1946. To commemorate the dual anniversaries of this historic site, 110 years since its opening and 80 years since its closure, Dunhill has created the limited edition Notting Hill series. Inspired by the factory's enduring heritage, each pipe is fitted with a sterling silver band engraved "1916 Notting Hill Gate 1946," and accompanied by a vulcanite tamper crowned with a silver replica of the commemorative Blue Plaque that now marks the former factory building. Presented in a blue leather White Spot pouch and accompanied by a serialized, hand-signed certificate, the Notting Hill series celebrates a fascinating and often overlooked chapter in Alfred Dunhill's history.

Offered in robust Group 5 dimensions, this "03" straight Billiard from Dunhill is one of the most iconic shapes on the classic pipe chart, and fittingly rendered here by The White Spot — the English marque having both mastered the shape and been instrumental in proliferating it around the world. The bowl is tall and capaciously chambered, standing proudly atop a firmly rounded heel and displaying a subtle forward cant which pushes it into further prominence. Dressed here in the iconic and original Bruyere finish.
