About This Pipe
On May 8, 1945, the Allies accepted Germany's unconditional surrender, bringing a brutal chapter of World War II to a close. News of the victory sparked celebrations across Europe, and today, VE Day — Victory in Europe Day — is still observed as a public holiday in several countries. To commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day, Dunhill has created a limited-edition, serialized collection of pipes, each presented in a beautifully crafted book-style case, blending historical homage with exceptional artistry.
Inside the case rests Dunhill's "34" straight Brandy in Group 4. This classic shape features a robust bowl with a gently rounded heel that tapers gracefully toward the rim. A rounded shank and tapered stem complete the silhouette with understated elegance. This example is presented in Dunhill's rich Cumberland finish and accented with silver. The set also includes a striking tamper, its top shaped as two fingers forming a "V" for victory.
