Sandblasted Morta Chubby Apple (B) Tobacco Pipe

Combining sandblasted morta with warm, striated-hued cumberland, this Chubby Apple features materials we're quite used to seeing from Max Rimensi of Il Duca. The design, however, is a stark departure from his more sinuous, organic fare. Trading smooth, flowing lines for incredibly muscular proportions and quite the handful of morta. It's a design we've seen a couple times before from the Italian carver, but this is one of the select few to utilize Max's conventional use of dense morta. The crisp finish makes for a delightful feel in hand, with plenty of surface area to enjoy, and while the proportions are as hearty as ever, the overall size is quite compact with the chamber well protected by the thick insulating walls.
