About This Pipe
Although we've never seen more than a handful of Volcanoes from Benni, he certainly does have a knack for rendering them in a fluid style, as you can see in the supple transition and long, easy waves defining the base of this one. While the upper bowl serves mainly as a firmer contrast to the fluidity of the rest of the shaping, even there you'll find a subdued echo of the rolling wave theme, in the very slight curving of the narrow rim.
