Partially Sandblasted Horn Tobacco Pipe

Back in 2010 Sykes wrote a description of a Benni pipe in which he referred to a "sense of vitality and movement that is central." That Jorgensen wasn't a Horn, but the turn of phrase nonetheless applies here, from the signature Benni swan-neck stem, to the much more substantial sweep and curve of the briar, to the rolling, lapping, wavelet shaping of the smoothly polished rim. Three of the four Benni briars going up today fall squarely into an active style; out of those three this one, the Horn, takes that approach the farthest. Put simply, it takes it all the way, from inner rim-edge to bit.
