Smooth Tomato (Swan) Tobacco Pipe

I see some Ivarsson in this shape, particularly in the ridge that runs the full length of the right flank — albeit without the usual tear-drop shank cross-section that would accompany it. I also see what may be some Former; we've never received a Tomato of any kind from Former, that I know of, but we have once carried a Horn by Hans that could have been this Tomato's cousin in sense of curve and the deft use of a half-stepped stem. And then there's the Tokutomi, viewed from above, where there's a definite balanced asymmetry at play in the cross-section of the bowl, and more subtly in the transition and shank, and yes, even the stem.

So what is it, this Tomato? It's a Benni, because while some great influences can be picked out here and there, the specific way they're all put together in lift and swoop, and buoyant proportions, is all Jorgensen. In fact, the one shape I can come up with that most resembles this design as a whole was a bent Ball by. Benni's own son, Lasse.
