Smooth Bent Acorn Tobacco Pipe

Though Benni does occasionally send something more flourishing our way, the look that first pops into my mind when I think of his pipes is this one: a composition dominated simply by smooth, clean lines and forms. Okay, there's a little bit of flair here, shaped into the base of the stem; still, I'd say 95% of this design is about the easy, continuous arc running from shank-end through to the forward edge of the rim, showing a soft roundness of profile that echoes the substance and sensations of the broad Acorn form in hand. And this simply beautiful approach (both in the sense of being "simply beautiful" and in providing a sense of beauty through simplicity) I have to say seems perfectly fitting to Jorgensen's quality-first approach to creating a smoking instrument, honed over years spent making W.O. Larsen's highest grade briars.
