About This Pipe
Originally, Rattray's "143" Dublin was one of four shapes exclusive to the marque's Bare Knuckle series, alongside the "144," "145," and "146." Now, it's available in Rattray's The Bull series, and it retains the shape's signature muscularity. A wide transition out back gives way to a cylindrical shank whose build is remarkably thick and quite short, cultivating a substantial feel in hand while remaining travel-friendly. Up front, a sturdy heel supports the bowl's walls as they take on a reserved flare to the domed and subtly chamfered rim, insulating a capacious chamber while offering a comfortable feel in hand.
Akin to the classic Chubby Jacket, the Bull series presents a collection of stocky, compact pipes that combine traditional charm with modern refinement. Each pipe is crafted for comfort, durability, and effortless use on the go, and features a striking horn accent. Ideal for enthusiasts who appreciate bold shapes and visual flair, the Bull series reflects Rattray's dedication to craftsmanship, style, and functional elegance.
-John McElhenyNote: While all of our other pipes are photographed individually, these are not, and you may expect some reasonable cosmetic variation between the example we've photographed and the pipe you've received.
