Smooth Bent Apple with Silver Tobacco Pipe

One of Cunha's classic designs, this bent Apple hearkens to antique English pipes from the early 20th century — specifically BBB. A number of shapes in old BBB catalogs featured stout, compact proportions and were often characterized by deeply bent stems that curved past the implied line of the rim. Cunha honors that vintage aesthetic with this piece and has rendered the design according to his own creative vision by keeping the proportions a touch more slender and refined to showcase the bowl's plump curvature. Stunning grain aligns perfectly with Cunha's artful shaping to poise vertical grain around the bowl and in line with the shank's curve, and a silver military mount adds vibrant flash and furthers the pipe's vintage-inspired aesthetic.
