Sandblasted Long Shank Paneled Pot Tobacco Pipe

When we first received this batch of Martelo pipes, Kaz and I remarked at this Pot specifically. Though not by any means a flashy or extroverted piece, it's still quite eye-catching thanks to the various elements Gustavo Cunha has married together. He's taken the classic Foursquare design, rendered it in Pot proportions and then fitted it to an elongated shank for quite a unique profile. With a sandblast that can't help but remind one of Michael Parks' exquisite finishes, the stummel is deeply grooved and wavy of texture all while still maintaining the shape's profile and keeping the lines of the shank arrow straight and seamlessly fitted to the tapered mouthpiece. It's exceptional design and craftsmanship from the Brazilian carver.
