Its in simple, minimalist forms like this straight Billiard where Giacomo Penzo's signature approach really shines, I think. The shape's inherently classic, pulling heavily from the old-school English and French models, but the bowl, for example, features a touch of extra visual weight compared to the rest of the composition — a cue we see across the Italian school. That said, the whole design is smoothed out and softened around the heel and transition, which is indicative of the Danish approach to traditional forms. Then you have the color palette it's presented in as well: a rich, warm sandblast with just a touch of contrast to bring out myriad aspects of the block's grain, paired to a fitting mouthpiece of rust-colored vulcanite.
