About This Pipe

Chacom is a storied French marque with roots that stretch back to the very beginning of briar pipe making. The firm's long history informs their shaping aesthetic, which tends to prioritize timeless French classics elevated by stylish finishing work. The Morta line sees the classic French brand trade their usual briar stummels for ones of morta — an alternative medium prized for its resistance to heat and mesmerizing grain patterns. As part of the series, this "836" bent Dublin has been fashioned from the petrified bog oak, fitted to a metallic band, and treated to a crisp sandblast.
